"About half my designs are controlled fantasy, 15 percent are total madness and the rest are bread-and-butter designs."

I fell in love with Stella McCartney's black satin high heel sandal on first sight, as I did with most things 'chain' related. Although I purchased numerous bracelets that were chunky chained and fabulous, as well as a dress with gold chain straps (very 1995), the trend managed to escape my shoe wardrobe. However, imagine my delight on seeing these sandals in the sale for £12! I'd had my eye on them for ages and lo and behold, I go away for 2 weeks and not only do they come into stock but they are reduced by a tenner! (available in black, white and fuschia)

"Fashions, after all, are only induced epidemics."

For anyone wanting to add a last bit of sailor chic to their summer wardrobe, Gina's 'Nadia' striped court shoe that was featured a while back is now in their special offers section, reduced from £295 to a more affordable £145 in most sizes.

"You, sir, I entertain for one of my hundred; only I do not like the fashion of your garments."

Another day, and another offering from ASOS. For a shinier alternative to Gina's 'Lara', have a butcher's at Bronx's leather patent lattice peep toe at ASOS, available in black or natural for £50.

“I dress for the image. Not for myself, not for the public, not for fashion, not for men"

I'm back! Sorry for slacking lately...I got back from holiday last week and it's taken me a week to get myself sorted out again! Anyways, I've had my ever watchful eye on the lookout and I have lots of posts to come! First off, ASOS's glitter court shoe appears to take significant inspirtation from Miu Miu's silver glitter mary jane. I think I'm actually preferring ASOS's version as the high-street is awash with the Mary Jane style and I'm a bit sick of it already!
